Detailed areas of expertise

Machine Learning in Natural Sciences Exploring the wide range of applications of AI, ML and DL in Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, Material Scienes and Geological Sciences. [Current research]
Database Development The principles of 4Ds - Documentation, Digitization, Deposition and Data Sciences are the basis for development of databases or digital repositories. Databases serve as a key for constructing datasets in Machine Learning and Deep Learning pipelines. [Current research]
Applied Cryptography Side-channel attacks are most volatile and non-invasive attacks in smart cards. Power analysis attacks, which is a sub type of side-channel attacks can be used to trace the power fluctuations while the encryption/decryption processes. This in return can help in deciphering valuable information such as secret keys used during the computations of the algorithms. [Doctoral Thesis]
Network-on-chip On-chip design are volatile in growing semi-conductor industries. One of the major aspects in network-on-chips (NoC) is the routing protocols in the networks most efficient ways. Fat-tree and improved fat-tree based topolgies were explored using simulation based models to build most efficient networks for chips. [M. Tech project work]
Natural Language Processing While with the developemnt of Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP) has reached heights, we explored a decade back on developing the Named Entry Recognizers (NER) using statisitcal methods for Engligh Language. A large corpus was explored and methods such as n-grams were used to develop the NER models. [B. Tech project at CDAC Pune]
